Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day

Christmas morning. Opening presents. The Mr. did such a good job picking out the coolest diaper bag ever. Thank you to all our family and friends for the special gifts we have received. We love you guys!!

The day consisted of pancakes + fruit. beach time. snorkeling. secret service. family time. new friends. food. board games. more really good food. A Christmas to remember!

"Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say on a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day
That's the island greeting that we send to you from the land where palm trees sway
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii's way to say Merry Christmas to you"

We knew we had a pretty good setup when Edward + President Barack Obama showed up.

North Shore Family V-Shoot...

I already blogged about this video earlier and posted some pics from their v-shoot, but the Mr. just completed the finishing touches and we wanted to share it with you. Beth Anne, Geoff and baby Grayson wanted a family video 'a day in the life'. What a sweet life it is! This family is awesome. They made it so easy to film them, and you can tell how happy and in love they are. Thanks guys for letting us be apart of your journey.
Grayson is one cute kid!!

Blessed...

I think I'm going to start writing a lot more about food in general or what we consumed each day, since I finally am starting to feel somewhat normal again for the most part. Being pregnant so far has been quite a challenge these last couple of weeks (months) . Thank you to everyone that has been there taking care of us. I know I could't have done it without your help!

It didn't help that we moved during this time as well, but I still wouldn't trade places with anyone if I could. Knowing there is something so special inside me is an experience I can't describe in words (serious miracle). Although its hard right now it will be so worth it and I know little bean is already loved tremendously!!! Our lives have already been changed in a big way and I know that none of this would have ever happened without the Lords help and blessings.

Talking to my fellow Peachtree City, GA pregnant friend Amy (Plauche) Stone, who is living in hawaii as well made me appreciate this period of time even more. Having morning sickness, cravings and other insanely weird stuff happen makes you understand what your little baby might be going through when it gets here... Glad Amy is here and I love getting to talk about baby stuff to her. Still can't believe how many of my friends are pregnant and moving on with their lives. What an exciting time.

This is the fruit stand where we get cheap, ripe, fresh, juicy fruit at least once a week. The lady at the end cuts the coconut for you right there after drinking the milk. It's so good!!!

Listen to the wisdom of the toothless ones...

Meet Toby and Taylor. They are my ADORABLE nephews. I love being an aunt and spending time with these surfer dudes...

"ONLY AN AUNT - can love you like a mommy, keep secrets like a sister, behave like a true friend & can straighten you out if needed!"

As you can see Tay lost his first tooth and is holding it up proudly. I'm sure the tooth fairy is thrilled to have another treasure added to her collection.

Every year atlanta has free concerts during the summer months. This is why I love this city. There is always something to do...
Best friend Anna Penner, Chantal and I met sunday night at Park Tavern for a hot relaxed night jamming out to Ingram Hill. Beautiful night watching the atlanta skyline sunset with beautiful people...

Mystical Aura...

My talented friend Jenna K. and Holly S. created the perfect event to get you excited for the LAST Harry Potter movie that I'm sure you're aware of. Let's just say it was POTTERPALOOZA at the Girl House...

You should know I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but anytime you can dress up silly with your friends you can count me in. Plus the movies I have seen are really good. Here are some pic from this event...

The American Dream...

Our 4th of July weekend was a blast! Our family had a fun day at Lake Lanier. They have a nice little beach area where we had an epic volleyball battle & made some friends. The sun was bright that day and we had a ball every minute of it...

Hard to believe that its been 12 years since my family and I stepped onto American soil during this holiday weekend. What a culture shock! Now I'm married to an American. We celebrated America's Birthday with our friends and admired the fireworks xoxo
