Heart and Soul

Getting ready for our baby has been tons of fun and I really wanted to document how much this little girl already means to us by creating a baby memory book. I decided to make my own and the picture above is a drawing I reproduced from a poster I just loved. This project will be a continuation and I'm so excited to make it more personal for her to enjoy later in life.

Madelyn Karley, our beautiful niece was born a week ago. She is just so cute and even though we have not been able to see + hold her yet in person, I wanted to show her off to all of you. Her mommy Karla made that adorable flower hat! Our babies are going to be about a month apart. I really feel blessed to know that our little one will for sure have a sweet little friend no matter what. Such a blessing!

February, the traditional month of love!

Since I'm waiting to hear the big news about the birth of our new niece, and definitely can't sleep (because of the movement of my own child) I figured I could update my blog on our Valentine's day. Madelyn should be here in a couple of hours!! I can't wait to be her Aunty!!

The best part of today was being able to spend the whole day with my best bud! Even though I'm so excited for our little miss to be here soon, I'm going to miss our alone time to the max.
I'm trying to hold/take in every minute with my sweet handsome husband. I'm a lucky girl to have him!

"An older sister helps one remain half child, half woman"

Thank you Marle' for coming to visit us in Hawaii. Clark put together a short video of your time here. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Love you!!

A sister is someone who is there and understands who you are. She will be there with you no matter what situation you have been through and going to hit in the future. A sister is your family, best friend, and your friend forever. She is the one you tell your deepest secret to.

Most favorite time of the year...

I have heard nightmares about black friday since I moved to the United States, and have always been curious to go myself. I figured this would be a great year to go look and see what I can find, since we moved here less than 2 months ago. Clark accompanied me and we had a blast! We didn't even have to wake up at the crack of dawn. I guess it was meant to be. All I really wanted was a small christmas tree, and I found some cute baby clothes.
This baby better hurry up because I can't wait to put her in that swimsuit and play with her in the water.

Later that night, after watching a movie, we decided to write down our christmas wish list (with some sparkling grape juice), and have the other person read them. This was so much fun. Wished we did this last year already. Would have made shopping a lot easier...

The best part of today was stargazing with my love. This was so special, since we only have a couple of months together before our little family of 2 becomes 3. We are for sure going to be doing this more often...
enjoy the video...

The American Dream...

Our 4th of July weekend was a blast! Our family had a fun day at Lake Lanier. They have a nice little beach area where we had an epic volleyball battle & made some friends. The sun was bright that day and we had a ball every minute of it...

Hard to believe that its been 12 years since my family and I stepped onto American soil during this holiday weekend. What a culture shock! Now I'm married to an American. We celebrated America's Birthday with our friends and admired the fireworks xoxo
