Weekend Getaway

April has been a very busy month for us and this blog post is really old news, but I still wanted to share our lil' adventure we took :)

My sweet husband took me to Orlando for a weekend getaway. It was very special to go back to where we got married only a few months ago. It was a long drive, but definitely worth it. THANK YOU to our family down there for spending these days with us. We had such a good time and can't wait to go back.

We LOVED Harry Potter's Dragon roller coaster and I was very impressed with the designs of the houses. And this is coming from a non-Harry Potter fan. The magic wands are their biggest seller for sure.

On our way home we stopped by the Orlando Temple. Such a beautiful building and good memories from the happiest day of my life!

Ellen was there too.

And it was SPRING...

Hopefully this video inspires you to get out and enjoy the springtime with the one you love!

The sun has finally showed it's face this year and to celebrate our excitement we packed a lovely lil picnic basket and spend the day at one of our favorite parks in sandy springs. To add to this beautiful day, there was this old couple sitting next to us playing the banjo & violin together. I can't wait to grow old with you clark and know we will get to spend many days together like this.

Food Art

I'm lucky to have a job where I can be creative and do what I love to do... I work as a sign artist for Trader Joe's. Since I have been working there I have discovered the world of food and it really surprised me how interesting and fun it can be.
You really are what you eat!
Clark enjoys my new hobby just as much since he gets a good homemade meal more often. SO its a win-win situation...

:)

You can make mango smoothies,  salsa, salad, chutney, pie & butter.
The possibilities are endless...

Unplugged, Underground (In The Basement)

This film is a small tribute to all the performers that performed at the first Girl House Concert Series. It was an epic night full of sounds, lights, and friends. Monique and I hope to see another such gathering soon. Props to Jenna Kimble for organizing the event. She did an amazing job pulling this off. If I left anyone out, my apologizes. I didn't have that much footage to work with. Cheers...

Chicken+Eggs

Today at work I had to stock up on all the eggs in my little grocery store and it made me think of some cool artsy projects that i could do with these eggs. Perfect timing since its almost time for easter. I will post some pics when I'm done.
