Crush The Turtle...

Lani's is where these giant majestic turtles spend their day sunbathing. They keep this part of the beach protected to make sure the turtles don't get disturbed. These surfer dudes weren't camera shy at all and I couldn't help taking tons of pictures of them. Reminded me of Finding Nemo...

There are three species of sea turtles native to the Hawaiian Islands: the Green, the Hawksbill, and the Leatherback. These fascinating creatures have played important roles in the environment and culture of Hawaii's people. Of the three native sea turtles, the Green Turtle (Honu) is the most common.

Our day up to the North Shore continued with a rainbow sighting and Shaved Ice. Craving these things since (perfect combo: lychee, mango, pina colada topped off with condense milk)

This is the view in front of our house. Kaneohe Bay. The water is nice and calm right here which is great for paddle-boarding, spear fishing and snorkeling. It does rain here at least twice a day. That's ok with me tho because there is always a rainbow near by.
